About DIB
Dib has a deep love for creating; mainly painting, using acrylic, oils, and watercolor. The vibrant colors of the medium are what drives her to paint; with big swipes in a mural, or the small detailing of a sheep's fur.
Dib was educated in the art of painting with a degree from the University of Kentucky, and , continuously, with memories of painting at the elbow of her two grandmothers who were avid painters each with their own styles.
She lives in the Carolina Hills, has four children, seven grandchildren and a load of fun.
Dib enjoys painting details, giving field animals personality and attitude with a twinkle of the eye, showing the heart of an animal, and painting the less detailed softness of the Carolina marshes and coast line.
The magnolia blossom collection is painted to send out memories of the sweet scent of early summer.
